The Shelly Beach Lions Club was officially chartered in 2008 and forms part of Multiple District 410-C (Eastern South Africa) - Zone 6.

 

The Shelly Lions aim to serve the local community though dedicated service projects that encompass the main focus points of Lions International, including:

 

FREE BLOOD SCREENING CLINICS, TRAINING AND SUPPORT

 

FEEDING SCHEMES AND SUPPORT OF LOCAL SCHOOLS

AND CRÈCHES

 

SIGHT & HEARING

 

OPERATION BRIGHT SIGHT AND PROVIDING FREE HEARING AIDS AND READING GLASSES TO THOSE IN NEED

 

BEACH CLEANUPS, TREE PLANTING AND URBAN IMPROVEMENT

Club meetings are held every 2nd (Board of Directors) and 4th Tuesday of any given month at 18:30 at the Lions' Den, Coniston Road, (opposite Shelly Centre) Shelly Beach, Republic of South Africa.

 

Meetings are categorised as follows :

2nd Tuesday - Board of Directors
4th Tuesday - Club General Meeting
